It is one of our favorite harnesses for multi-pitch and trad climbing, but if you're looking for a harness with even larger gear loops and more leg loop adjustability, check out the Petzl Aquila . But since adjustable leg loops aren’t necessary for sport climbing, the simplified design eliminates one thing that needs to be adjusted—a bonus in my book. Downsides, as mentioned, are the lack of adjustable leg loops (there is some elastic shit but you can't cinch it) and, IMO, the gear loops aren't great if you are racking a lot of draws/gear on them for outdoor climbing. It offers up good comfort and updated features like low profile gear loops and padded leg loops. There are a number of harnesses in the Sama’s price range. Value At $69.
