Check the white paper from Panasonic before you claim things that are So I installed vlog on my GH5 a while back, I was told I could only install it once and then the vlog key would be useless. I want to use the vLog view assist, but "Read LUT file" is greyed out and I can't use it. the Gh5. Definitely not the case without vlog. I've narrowed things down to the GH5 II or S5. There’s a facebook group for GH5 owners and there are constantly people who post their tests between GH5 VLog-L and HLG modes, saying how HLG has less noise but is essentially the same thing. it was my first time using V-Log so i'm guessing maybe i'm missing something. I got a bundle from B&h that included the vlog code so it all delivered at the same time. That's not really true. This is even more annoying than the sometimes lazy focusing on the GH5. 99. I also have a GH5 with vlog and I also (used to) shoot weddings. It seems unintuitive, and I am not sure if they will fix this in 2. Although it sounds like your experience sucked, I would be annoyed too.
