De ídolos a misión / From idols to mission (Parte II)

El Señor nos exhorta a levantarnos en medio de nuestros retos y situaciones de incertidumbre, a apartarnos de los ídolos que tenemos en nuestros corazones y a retornar al propósito que Él tiene en nuestras vidas.

¿Recuerdas que el domingo pasado hablamos de levantarnos, despojarnos de ídolos del pasado y revestirnos con la fortaleza en nuestro Padre para emprender el camino a la misión?
 
Hoy te invito a abrir tu corazón a este mensaje, quizá Dios también te esté llamando a volver a él, nuestro primer amor. Te comparto los 3 puntos que complementan dos pasos que ya conociste:
  + Ir (Génesis 35:1)
  + Cambiar (Génesis 35:2). 
 
Como Padre amoroso, nos dice:
 

1. Confía (Génesis 35:5-7)

En medio del camino incierto, en el que tenemos temor a las situaciones que no podemos controlar e incluso a veces a las consecuencias de nuestros actos, Él nos llama a confiar en Su Soberanía y Amor, por encima de cualquier cosa. 

2.Recuerda (Génesis 35:6-12)

Él es el mismo Dios, aquél que nos ha librado de tantas circunstancias en el pasado y tiene el poder absoluto para hacerlo una y otra vez.  A través de leer Su Palabra, sus maravillosos actos, podemos también recordar su infinito amor por nosotros. Nuestra identidad reposa en su obrar.
 
3. Adora (Génesis 35:13-15)
Fuimos creados para adorar a Dios, esa es nuestra última meta. Adorarlo por quién es, por lo que ha hecho y hace en nuestras vidas. Otra manera poderosa de hacer eso es compartir con otros de Sus grandes obras. Es  Su Gran Comisión para nosotros, Su Pueblo. 
 
Medita en estas preguntas, en oración, a qué te está llamando Dios en esta transición a la ‘nueva normalidad’?
  • A dejar atrás los ídolos? 
  • A retornar a ese Primer Amor?
  • Al cumplimiento de la Gran Comisión?
¿Qué ídolos está pidiéndote Dios abandonar?
 
¿Tienes una misión, te está llamando él a habitar en su amor y compartirlo con otros?
